Interesting it's Season 1-8 and doesn't include season 9.

I've got seasons 1-7 on DVD, and haven't bothered with 8 and 9 so not sure I will buy this, and if I do it will need to be widescreen which I'm not sure will happen.

Season 9 was the Scrubettes, wasn't it?

I hope this is region free. Scrubs and My Name Is Earl are two comedy shows that deserve to be on BluRay.

I'm pretty sure Season 9 was burnt with fire not long after airing Seriously, I've only seen about 2 episodes and it was awful!

Agreed. While S9 is not typically a favorite and S8 wrapped things up perfectly, leaving it off seems random. Why not just include it to have a complete package?

It might. While S1-7 aired 4:3 SD in the States, the cinematographer always had eventual HD distribution (and widescreen) in mind:

"The New Scrubs" I think I saw it billed as?

Took about 4 / 5 episodes, but I did enjoy them, and wanted more :/

Great news! This is one of my favourite shows and I only ever bought the first three seasons on DVD, so it'll nice to have every episode on Blu-ray (bar the ninth season, apparently).

I just started watching Scrubs once it began airing from the beginning again on Comedy Central.

Just a couple personal thoughts about the show from me now! It's very good background TV in my opinion! Along with some genuine soft and great moments!
The characters are good, but in my opinion, the best character by a mile is the janitor. Every episode, I always look forward to his and JD's interactions and they ALWAYS crack me up! Their exchanges are almost always the highlights of the episodes for me, I just love the Janitor's attitude and character!
The other characters are pretty good (not to mention Carla is quite...uh... ), I like Dr Cox and Dr Kelso, however they do get a little repetitive from time to time. I mean, there's only so many variations of "Oh, I'm sorry, you must've confused me for somebody who gives a crap!" that I can laugh at in a row. And of course, Zach Braff is wonderful in the title role.

I'm up to Series 4 at the moment (I have a bunch recorded on Sky+), and so far the HD (if it's even in HD) isn't really all that great. I mean, it's not bad or anything, in fact there are no problems with it, but it doesn't look like it's been restored in HD yet. Friends, on the other hand, has amazing HD restorations on Comedy Central, even the older episodes impress me in terms of PQ.

Maybe the Blu-Rays of Scrubs will have brand new restorations. And they should! They totally deserve them, and to be honest, it's time for them! I wonder if all episodes will be in 4:3 or if some of the later ones will be in Widescreen.

Definately not gonna pick it up immediately, but still, it's one to keep an eye on for the future!
(Same with Friends, as I own the DVD Box Set, so I won't be picking it up on Blu immediately).

Keeping an eye on this one.

I wasn't into Scrubs much when it first started. Then ironically, I had to spend 6 weeks in hospital back in 2008 due to a surgery that was supposed to be routine but had bad complications afterwards. And the only thing that could be decently picked up on the TV arms over the beds (this was at Wexham Park Hospital in Slough, by the way), were Scrubs and Smallville.

Those 2 shows alone, kept me from going crazy due to extreme boredom and pain.

It was also during the time when Star Trek TNG was being repeatted on BBC2 very late on Friday nights. Tried to watch that too, but the nurses kept coming in a switching it off. The channel called "Watch" wasn't even working, so I couldn't watch Doctor Who.

Does make you wonder how long that listing has been there. Maybe it says season 1-8 because it was before season 9 aired.

hmmm.....

There was a placeholder aaaaages ago, however I can't remember if it said about exclusive blu-ray features or not.
Let me search!
Jack

Hate to disappoint, but I believe this leads to the same link:
