Not likely. But, remember how I buy my steelbooks? Unlike some people I don't buy everything because it's a steelbook. I buy it if the content is worthy of being in a steelbook for my collection. Of all the steelbooks released, there only ever seems to be a small handful I'd want to have in such condition on my shelf. I'm very selective. So I say bring it on! I challenge Play.com to try and break my bank account!

I agree. Keep them coming! I'm finding enough that I want but plenty that I don't fancy. It's been a great mix so far and I'd rather have too much choice than not enough.

I'm happy they're releasing these. I don't buy all steelbooks, just films I'm interested in. If a new movie comes out in steelbook, I'll usually buy that one, but with films I already own I'll buy if I love the film. (IE: Serenity - 5x dipped) Things like Alien Anthology, I have the big digibook on Blu-Ray and don't feel the need to change that for a steelbook.

The more they release, the more likely they are to release something I want. I think I only have about a dozen steelbooks.

I agree, thay can release as many as they want, both in terms of how many films get the steelbook treatment and the amount of steelbooks made.

I only buy 1 of each film that interests me, and only about 1 in 20 steelbooks that are released if not less. So far I own about 12 steelbooks, the 12 I want. I don't care if each steelbook is limited to 1000, 100,000 or 100,000,000 as long as I get 1 for the retail price. I couldn't care less what happens after that or how much they're worth, I don't intend to sell them or buy extra to make money.

+1 on that. Most of the announced steelbooks I have no interest in at all. I would have bought the Thing steelbook if it looked half decent but it doesnt so Ill hold on to my slipcover one. Im very interested in the Watchmen steel when it appears - if its the directors cut.

Pretty nice. Slight shame about the blue banner.

That'd be awesome. With extra wishful thinking, it would hopefully include the extended cut.

Got to admit I'm not very inspired by that list of titles. Fair enough if that's what people are demanding but I hope play.com also listen to what people suggested when they asked on their official Facebook page a month or two ago about potential future steelbook releases; I suggested a couple including Leon and Big Trouble In Little China, as well as Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, which the play.com dude said was one of his favourite films as well and that he would speak to the relevant team the following Monday.

Also, +1 for Commando, Once Upon A Time In The West and Die Hard! Brilliant films

I'd want these as SteelBooks:

Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete
Evangelion 1.11 and 2.22
Origin: Spirits of the Past
Starship Troopers
I, Robot
Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy
The Day After Tomorrow

I want a Blu steel of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, also some anime steels, but I don't expect that to happen. I'd like a The Day After Tomorrow steel, The Simpsons Movie steel, Final Fantasy VII Advent Children steel. An Independence Day steel, The Core steel (when it's released of course)
