Nice, he was actually playing a demo. I want that demo on the PS store asap. Mouse and keyboard support gets a big thumbs up from me. Thats one of the reasons why i couldn't get into RFOM. Him saying the graphics look at least as good as Gears of War and doom3 is also very niiiiice !

From what I've seen UT3 actually looks a lot better than Gears of War with more consistently sharp textures and greater variety of colourful detail. With higher contrast colourful textures you tend to notice lack of sharpness more as well so it's nice to see Epic have optimised UE3 for PS3 very well already.

Mouse & Keyboard support = hooray! One less reason for me to need a high spec PC (I hope to 'go Mac' by the end of the year) I wonder how long Microsoft will deny gamers choice of control, BETTER control.

mouse and keyboard support is what will sell me this game. Im a big ut fan. ut 2004 being my favorite (the classic rox as well). if the ps3 lacked this feature i would just get it on the pc.

im hoping the new warfare mode is easy to get into. the ease of use is what made onslaught so great and user friendly.

well, if it is what it is, wireless mouse and keyboard here i come. i can't think of anything better than being lazy, sitting on the couch, and fragging people from across the world on 50 inches of beauty

jtk, might have to make an exception on the whole pc gaming thing if this is as good as we hope cause i know i dont have the money to update my rig

P.C. gaming is dead .. long live the PS3

They just keep adding to the list .. and knocking off everyone else..one by one.

I've been saying that for awhile to people ... consoles on the big screen rule vs a pc. on a monitor. Once they add wireless keyboard support why keep spending money on the pc treadmill? Hell unless your actually editing the content why a P.C at all? The keyboard argument has been one of the legs holding up the pc game scenario - now the only one left is the latest and greatest $500 graphics card enough? I mean that buys you another whole PS3

Thanks for confirming my suspicions.

Im still on a wait and see approach.

The keyboard and mouse will have to be bluetooth. I have a logitech wireless ps/2 setup, and while the keyboard is fine, the accuracy of the mouse isnt all that great and you notice that there are hipcups due to the distance (the closer you get the better it is).

I would really like to see Epic make Unreal 3. That would rock. I loved Unreal 2 even if it was a bit linear. There needs to be a good space marines type game
(like the Aliens..movie) that does the genre justice. Halo is OK, but its more one man vs situation. Unreal 2 was kind of the same for that but didnt deliver liked I would have wanted.

Sony should try and secure that as an exclusive.

Understand that it has to work well..to me that's a technical detail to get right... the appeal is pretty high otherwise.

Those who do it well will profit from it most for sure.

I've been waiting a bit before getting one but just for browsing and other data entry stuff.

I prefer the simplicity of game pads for my actual gaming. In fact it was the crazy keyboard complexity that took over pc games that really drove me to consoles in the first place. No desire to go back. Getting too old for that..and every game had sooo many commands .. it was just too much to get proficient as a casual gamer...when you only have a few hours here and there you just want to be able to jump in and jump out easily.

Enjoy.

Doom3, good graphic's? Please

The only thing Doom3 engine is good at rendering is darkness.

Now Gears of War's graphics is somthing to brag about. But gameplay is the real mark of a good game.

Will UT have anything more to offer than previous UTs and other FPS Deathmath games? If gameplay does not evolve as much as graphics did, I say UT3 will be a rental at best.
