Is this even possible?

Ive seen lots of videos about changing out artwork but never the spine. Is there a way to do this?

Remove all panels.
Place plastic frame with spine in hot soapy water.
Using a flat object (old credit card) slide under spine the move slowly to opposite end, making sure that metal Spine does not curl (hence hot water)
If you are very lucky the adhesive will have come off cleanly and may be re used. If not simply use 3M double sided tape to re-stick spine to new frame.
