Hmv now has a pre order up for 8 October.

They have steelbook and collectors edition. No pictures at present.

Hope collector edition is like the German limited edition. That is currently 80 euros. Hmv price is £37

Have noticed that on Sainsburys, there is the steelbook version for £17.99, but they also have another 'steelbook' version for £24.99, which I'm kinda thinking may be the collectors set. If so, it's a pretty good price compared to £29.99 at Play and £37.00 at HMV... Have pre-ordered it anyway - we'll see if the description changes! Just a heads up...

There are two versions up on Play's website where the more expensive one is a collector's boxset. The steelbook version is still priced the same as Amazon's.

From what I remember, Universal releases should be region free. (Somebody please correct me if I got this wrong here.)

As for what's in the box set I don't think any information has been released as to what's in the UK set yet. There is a Snow White and the Huntsman Limited edition set being listed at Amazon Germany, but its listed at €79.99, much higher than the one at Play.

In terms of packaging Sainsburys will most likely send in jiffy bag so risk of dents. Play am unsure if this will be too big for their steelbook box

For shipping to the U.S. it's $35 from HMV and $28 from Amazon. HMV charges more for shipping and does not remove VAT charges. Plus Amazon gives a quantity discount, where HMV is £4.50 per item.

All the UK retailers are selling the exact same steel, not just HMV, Amazon and Play. So really your list is only 3 steelbooks: UK, amazon.de and Futureshop.

I've yet to see a modern release that hasn't bothered with internal artwork so it's a safe bet they will have it
