Blind Buy... - Blu-ray Forum

Okay,
I was at Best Buy today, and was looking through the movies and got a few for my collection. I have never seen "Flyboys" but heard nothing but good reviews and the PQ & AQ was by far excellent. I will be watching it later on this week. Let me know what you think. I also picked up "The Departed" for $19.99 and "Casino Royale" for $20.99 I think I got a good deal, considering the fact that I was going to buy them 2 weeks ago for $29.99 -$34.99. I'm glad I waited. I hope to hear everyone's thoughts of my blind buy. Never done a blind buy before, so I like let's see how this goes.

Never seen Fly Boys. Casino Royale is one of my favorites. Saw The Departed on SD DVD, liked it, but not sure it's one I would buy on BD for my library.

Flyboys is great on BD but the movie itself is average, the movie seemed to drag a bit.

Well I want to see Fly Boys, Casino Royale was really good, and I have a bootleg of The Departed. I think you'll like Casino Royale though.

Departed is an awesome movie, as is Casino Royale. I've watched Departed probably five or six times since it came out. Never saw Flyboys.

No Country For Old Men was great but some people may not be able to take the ending.

Micheal Clayton was a greatly unappreciated/ignored movie.

Sunshine was definitely flawed, but extremely interesting. I watched it and was lukewarm about it, but after some time I found myself really wanting to see it again. It grows on you over time.

Any of these I'd recommend.

I bought Sunshine as a blind buy, and I'm really disappointed, some people told me it was a slow movie with a heavy atmosphere but I didn't know how much. The worst thing I think is it brings nothing new, the dialogues bring no surprise, the ending is 100% inspired by Event horizon (the whole film is anyway).
I couldn't see I am Legend and No country for old men but they may be blind buys (dont like much the Cohen movies, hated Fargo).
