i just watched this movie again and i love it from what i can gather the movie went rather unnoticed or reputation didn't extend very long the movie its self is brilliantly made but the film work its self is stunning even on dvd some small studio made it but fox has funded it for a dvd release or something like that but i think the movie itself would be breath taking on blu-ray

Very fun flick. Loved the metal case that Fox used for the latest DVD too.

There is a doc made by the same guy who wrote and directed that movie. Seems he had a quick rise to fame and recognition by Miramax (I think), but he got cocky and full of himself that he screwed it all up. And thus the movie was abandoned by Miramax (if I remember correctly) and it was released without much fanfare. Filmed in Toronto, go Canada!
