The Cosby Show won't be coming to blu-ray anytime soon. It was shot on standard def videotape, so they won't bother.

I think it was because it was in widescreen and my parents said they saw it in the theater when it was came out in 1982. I don't know if that means anything but it's just what I know...

1983 actaully, and yes 35mm film. Would love to have this on BD. One of the funniest stand up shows I've ever seen. A classic.

Agreed. I remember when my dad showed me this stand up for the first time after he bought the DVD I don't think I ever laughed so hard in my life. I really hope that this makes it to blu-ray someday. If it does I would definitely pick it up whenever it came out
