interested to see what artwork they get but i'm an individual steelbook type of guy. I'd always take them over a boxed trilogy set given the opportunity (Everything must be in english though )

I actually prefer steelbooks with all the movies in it, this takes away less space and less money from my wallet.
With the Spiderman trilogy, the matrix trilogy, Jason Bourne trilogy, Alien anthology, and the godfather trilogy I would need 16 Steelbooks in my shelf instead of just 5

Also you never know if they'll release the whole set in separate steelbooks (no separate german batman begins steelbook, no separate german Sherlock holmes 2 steelbook etc ...)
That's why I prefer to wait until every movie of a set is released before I buy anything (iron man, batman, sherlock holmes, hangover to name a few)

It might work out more expensive in total and i cannot disagree with you there, but the individual artworks a real draw to me and the truth is with catalogue releases, the prices shouldn't really be that high anyways. Take Batman Begins and TDK Best Buy steelbooks. $9.99 offers on them. TDKR would be the expensive one as it's a new release, but catalogue titles are the ones that should be avilable cheaper. That's why The Godfather steelbooks have annoyed me at the moment. They're actually pretty expensive compared to say other trilogy steelbooks of catalogue releases, even if it is the best gangster trilogy we have.

Individual releases please. Do not want a Shitty-Man 3 steelbook contaminating my BD shelf.

It's not only the trilogy, if you compare the steelbook with the separate amarays on play.com, the price is about the same ...

I'm still more interested in individual releases.

Yes, I'd buy them all, and yes it'd be more expensive. I'm just a fan of separate releases when it comes to steelbooks. As I have all 3 on DVD, I'd be happy with just the first one in a steelbook rather than all 3 in a trilogy steelbook.

I've bought them on DVD with the Collector's editions, on Blu-Ray again with the High Def trilogy edition and once more on Blu-Ray with the JB Hi Fi exclusive with the mini-comic.
So, I not only double-dipped, I triple-dipped on each movie.
No, I'm not complaining. I just wanted the 'Ultimate' box set - I bought Multiple blu-ray cases that house 6-7 discs and put every single edition I had into the Hi Def Trilogy edition covers.
Makes for one great set.

I like that too I think it's nicer than the original boxset but not enough to bother swapping it.
