If they don't (for some crazy reason!) bring out a steelbook, I'll either go for the Play exclusive or possibly 1 of the standard sets from Sainsburys because their pricing is great! Can't wait to get this film though, freakin' "amazing"!

EDIT: just so everyone knows (and the first post can be edited) Play have lowered their prices.
Both their 2D sets are now £14.99 and their 3D is £19.99

(and I just ordered their exclusive just in case they sell out of something :P)

No exclusive for the 3D Version on Play. Quite funny, as I thought surely Sony would be pushing 3D Blu-Ray.

I'll keep my order for the 3D Version at Sainsbury's. Not worth £5 more for just the 2D Version to get a bonus sleeve and art cards.

Does the 3d also include a 2d disk ?
Want to future proof and my TV is only 2d although my BD player can handle 3d.

I'm quite amazed that no one has announced a steelbook for this. Was really expecting one.

In no rush to pre-order since it's not out for a long while so will wait for a bit to see if HMV announce one.

I think it's mandatory that all 3D release have a 2D version included.

Yes it is (with the only exception I believe being the US Toy Story 3D box set)

Cheers. I don't own a 3D Player yet but wouldn't mind "future proofing" some of my purchases if that's the case.

The only thing is, that they tend to take quite a while to do so.

Now listed by HMV. NO steelbook or any type of exclusive.

Just standard 2d and 3d releases much more expensive than elsewhere.

It was listed by HMV yesterday morning. Plus, their "exclusive steelbooks" don't tend to get announced at the same time as the general releases, usually a bit later. Couple that with the fact the film isn't released until tail end of November means there's still plenty of time for a Steelbook announcement (hopefully).

Ordered at that price last night in case HMV don't do a steelbook.
