Australia List your complete blu-ray want list

I thought I would start a thread so Aussie and Kiwi members can all share their complete blu-ray want lists. I know that there is already a similar thread open here in the Australian/New Zealand section for discussing blu's that you would like to see released in 2012, however I wanted to create a thread that goes more in depth than that. I'm very organised in regards to catalogue titles I want on blu, and have had this list of wants since day 1 of collecting them in 2007. It's rare that I will blind buy, other than new releases that hit the home market for the 1st time. Basically once I have bought every movie on my list on blu, other than new releases, then I will be finished collecting them.

Most of my wants have been on my list from the beginning, however I do add some new entries here and there, movies I have forgotten about but just randomly thought of all of a sudden. That's how I got the idea for this thread. I was in the shower the other day and a title just popped into my head. I told myself that I was going to add it to my list, though by the time I got out of the shower and got ready for work I had forgotten what the title was. So my intent of this thread is for us to all share our wish lists, and by doing so it might help us all remember titles that we have forgotten about, and might decide we want so then we can add them to our lists, price trackers etc. Here goes

A fair few of those international trackers I've seen locally for quite cheap, unless you have a specific reason for tracking the international versions.

And thumbs up on heaps of the "not yet on DVD" ones.

Edit: and things like The Good, Bad, Ugly you can get locally for 2 for $20 in various places.

Which titles on my international tracking list have you seen locally? To the best of my knowledge none of them on my price tracking list are available here.

The Good the Bad and Ugly is amongst my 3rd spoiler tag list, which is my Australian release want list, not my imports list.

That's a unique selection. I'm not too familiar with most of the titles but they intrigued me enough that I looked up some of them, and thought they sounded very interesting.

I wouldn't mind seeing High Fidelity. I might look at hiring it in a couple of weeks when it's released on blu here. Yeah Die Hard 4 uncut and the original Star Wars Trilogy Pre '97' would be great.

I had a nice reply written up but then my browser went kaput. I'll try to sum it up again.

1: Sorry, I jumped the gun while I was at work on your international list. I swear I've seen Bloodsport and Hard To Kill around, but my brain was probably just playing tricks on me. A newborn seems to be doing that to me lately . I do know that FernGully is around, at Kmart. I have the three pack listed here, but I'm so certain I saw it standalone there at Kmart too.

2: Again sorry, all I meant with TGTBTU was that I've seen it cheap; I was just passing on the knowledge that I've seen it cheap in case you weren't aware.

I'd love to see Memories Of Murder get a proper release in, well, anywhere. That sits astride my number 1 films with a number of other flicks.

No dramas mate. I was just curious if I was mistaken, because I would buy those titles locally instead importing them. Yeah I've seen Ferngully in the 3 pack at K-Mart too, but I don't want the other 2 movies in the pack. Since the U.S version is region free and is sold seperately in it's own cover, in this circumstance I would prefer the U.S release instead of the local release.

Hmm, saw mention of Jaws 3(D) getting a release, but not Jaws 2 — I'd really like to have that one (two of the four best scary bits in the Jaws series are in Jaws 2, I reckon).

Yeah I thought it was like Mac said, that Jaws 3/3D is supposedly getting a release, but Jaws 2 was only ever a rumor that started to spread when Jaws was announced.

So is Jaws officially released on the 15th? JBs website has been switching between the 15th and 22nd. Might cancel my US order if thats the case.

Id mostly like to see older 80s catalogue titles myself. Things like The Stuff, Moon 44, House 1+2 etc etc. Especially some Aussie titles like Mad Max 3, Ginger Meggs (mentioned in another thread) and Fatty Finn.
