One of the best wuxia/Hong Kong films and it probably won't get a decent transfer. Such a shame.

Still, better than nothing and I hope it's brilliant sequel gets a Blu-ray release at some point too.

That's too bad

Thankfully it was released on DVD earlier this year in France thanks to the french label HK Video in a nice digipack edition.
When I upscale it on my screen, it looks the same as this BD.

I just received my Art Vision Korean blu-ray today. Love the package. However, as everyone knows, the PQ of the movie is below standard. But, it is an upgrade for me though cause I only owned it on VHS.

There are some nice extras. There is an interview with James Wong and Jacky Cheung. However, neither interview has an English sub; only Korean. There is also an original and newly edited trailer, deleted scenes (no English subs) and movie photo slideshow.
