Default Almost Famous

I recieved Almost Famous : Untitled today from Amazon.com/uk. They got it here in about a week. I've never been happier since I got my bluray. I've loved this movie ever since I saw it in the theater...question is.. WHY would they release something like this in the UK only? just doesn't make sense to me ?? any ideas ??

Run time is 161 minutes.. I think its the Bootleg version that was available on DVD a few years back. However, one thing I did notice is that at the beginning when the names are being hand written on the yellow paper it no longer says "Almost Famous" it now says "Untitled" ... don't remember if that was on the bootleg or not

I think it's because Sony has the international rights to the movie, so they're able to release it on Blu everywhere else in the world.

But now that HD is dead (LONG LIVE BLU-RAY!!!), I think that we might be able to see ALMOST FAMOUS UNTITLED on Blu soon here in North America.

Does anyone think that it sucks that this so far has been the only good movie Kate Hudson's ever been? I mean, this was her breakthrough movie and is so perfect in this film. And yet, she only does crappy romantic comedies instead of truly challenging movies on par with ALMOST FAMOUS. Such a waste.

Hmm. I'm debating whether or not to get this. I may just wait for the US release.

Default Sendit.com has it for $26

I ordered my ALMOST FAMOUS (Blu-ray) from Sendit.com and it took just over a week to get here.

Their price is about $26 including shipping. Here's the address:

PQ and SQ are top notch. There is absolutely no reason to wait until a US release.. With shipping was little more than the US release will be anyway. Deffinetly the #1 movie in my blu-ray library

Why not release it in the UK?

Seriously, it really bugs me.. in the U.S you have a ton of titles we dont, and as soon as we can get one that's not coming your way you all get pissy!

Very exciting, one of my favorite movies. Is it the same as the two disc set that contains "Untitled" and the original version?
