Default Network TV versions of films with deleted scenes?

Remember the "old days" when TV networks would re-incorporate deleted scenes into their airings to pad out the time of the broadcast?

Some of my favorites were:
All 4 Superman films
All of the Police Academy films
3 of the 4 Jaws films
Scarface (1983)
Sea of Love
Backdraft
Dead Poets Society

Can anyone remember others?
It was wierd to me to eventually see some of those movies on VHS and realize that a ton of stuff was added. They seemed like different movies to me after I saw the original theatrical versions.

Airplane and Caddyshack. I think that the Airplane extra scenes still are not availlible.

I don't remember that scene. I only remember a scene where he is on his way to Ray Finkle's house and stops by a bar for directions. Inside sething happens with the colourful locals and he threatens to pick a fight. He proceeds to take out one of his contact lenses, break it over the counter (as if it were a beer bottle), and proceeds to threaten his potential assailants with his improvised weapon.

Repo Man is rather funny in the TV version. "You melonfarmer!" and all that. It also has some scenes not in the original version. Both are on the BD, thankfully.

Murder By Death!

Some of the scenes are available on youtube, but I would love a complete version on BD.

The Goonies

That's the big one I always remember because they almost always include the Octopus scene.

In Jurassic Park; The Lost World, there is the additional scene of Pete Postlethwaite beating the crap out of the guy with his hand tied behind his back. That scene is utterly classic, but for some reason has only been aired within the movie on TV. It is, however, included in the deleted scenes on the BD.

While I understand the scene was perhaps a bit too cool for what's supposed to be the introduction of the villain (Postlethwaite was already cooler than Vince Vaughn in the movie ), you do get to understand the man a bit better. I also don't understand why the board room scene was cut, since that was exposition that the audience needed, and the introduction to the other villain, Ludlow. Instead, we're getting a reshoot of Malcolm on the subway, with information that's already in the next scene (it doesn't help that the next scene is also the 'reveal', so to speak, of Malcolm in the second movie).

Here's ones I have seen:

Friday the 13th 4 '84 (ABC) - Included those 10 minutes of deleted scenes like Trish exercising in her room. This is many many years ago now.

The Stepfather '87 (FX) - I've only seen this once on FX in 1999. Has addendums of Jerry telling Susan "Bang Zoom to the Moon" as the Honeymooners joke in the basement. More with Jim Hollebee (?)... Etc. I liked the additions and they exist nowhere now on the Bluray, DVD, etc.

Sixteen Candles '84 (USA) - Has more moments.

Halloween '78 - Laurie's house, etc... They made the DVD in 1999 but never made the Bluray. Here's hoping they are put back in for the 2013 release.

Halloween 2, Halloween 6, Halloween H20, Friday the 13th 6...

Gremlins.

etc., etc.

Blues Brothers - I remember the first time I saw it on video, either vhs or dvd, I was wondering where some scenes were. Turned out when I was watching on tv all those years they were using deleted scenes and I didn't even know it.

I have the extended Superman 2 tv version/ fan edit that runs close to 3 hours-It has the extended cut ABC ran years ago plus footage added that only aired internationally. It's incredible.

Not sure what version is on Blu, but there was a twenty-minute longer cut of Mel Brooks' "Silent Movie" that sometimes showed up on the networks.

Michael Mann's "The Keep" also showed up on NBC with that "lost" ten minutes of what happened after Scott Glenn was pulled back into his final battle (and pretty much an idea of why the studios cut it... )

Most memorable ones for me are:

Superman - As he breaks into Lex Luthor's underground fortress, Lex has a room full of automated machine guns unload on him to no avail, then another room that freezes him that he breaks out of, and then yet another room that sets fire to him. Superman walks right through that room as if there were no fire.

Saturday Night Fever - There's a scene where Tony's father gets a letter in the mail stating that he was to get his job back. While the father and mother celebrate, Tony just looks at them with a straight face then just mopes back to his room.
