Wow, I'm thoroughly shocked. I never see spongebob in hd on tv, guess i dont recall if the newer ones have been or not. Maybe we can get full seasons on blu from now on.

I'll pass. I love SpongeBob, but only the first three seasons and the movie. The original season 2 Christmas episode is good enough for me!

That's really cool that they're putting it out on Blu-ray though.

That's honestly how I feel about spongebob too, Stephen needs to come back

After the movie came out, the episodes were nowhere near as good. I still own the first 3 seasons on DVD and watch them from time to time. The newer episodes just aren't good though.

Only the eps in the latest season (Season 9) have been produced in HD. And that season just premiered last month. Besides those, a one-hour special that premiered back in 2009 was in HD as well. So yeah, not a lot are in high-definition.
