India/Bollywood Gangs of Wasseypur Part II

Starting a new thread on this since the movie is out.

Has anyone seen the film? How does it compare to part 1? And does it add to the experience when viewed in its entirety?

And for more important questions (perhaps too early at this point) - any news of the BD?

i watched this movie on the very first day of its release

now comparing it with part - 1 this movie fails because

1- the plot is just worth 1/2 hour (max) but is dragged to death @ 2 hours 30 minutes and involves new unnecessary characters
2- the first movie had a high entertainment value and was unpredictable and kept me engaged for about 3 hours of run time (the script of part 2 is quite predictable)

although the story needed a conclusion and part 2 was necessary to conclude the story but this one fails to deliver to me (keeping in mind part 1)(expected lot more from this)

MOVIE - 3.0/5 (PART - 2)
MUSIC - 3.0/5 (The soundtrack has BIHARI folk songs done in contemporary style)(some sound really cheap but are fun to hear anyways )
BGM - 4.25/5 (Now this is one of the major assets of the movie! i loved the Back Ground Music by G.V Prakash Kumar (who claims he's much more than just AR Rahman's Newphew.....WELL He's Right ) the background music suits the theme of the movie well and helps a lot in keeping the viewers engaged and just in the mood which director wants. The subtle and Powerful peaces are handled stupendously and the BGM never hinders the movie viewing experience )

Atleast the critics seem to be loving it far more than the first one.

Default Gangs Of Wasseypur II- Eagle Home Entertainment

Watched some portion of the movie, a slight difference of picture quality in some scenes but quite identical to the previous part which was also out by Eagle.
