:)
I killed Gorewood at Level 6. Take that Gorewood. Stupid tree. I messed up my skill points. There doesn't seem to be any reason to put more than one point in the early skills. They don't do any significant damage because they're not percentage based. |

So, where is Gorewood? I'm trying to find these kills but I can't. I was thinking I was missing some item to get across certain parts but you said you killed him at level 6 and I'm at level 9!

Hi! Lemme check.
I'm pretty sure he is in The Weeping Crag mini dungeon thing. I don't think I have fast travel yet, so I can't go easily get there to check. Double edit - Oh, a Darksiders wiki has been updated. Yeah, definitely The Weeping Crag. Last edited by tarvis; 08-15-2012 at 05:18 AM. |

Hmm. Yeah, I was looking around The Weeping Crag but I didn't see anything. I'm not sure where this mini dungeon is. I went from the beginning of the area, into the forest and towards where the very first dungeon was and I didn't see anything. Then my game froze. So, I'll try to figure it out tomorrow.
You should be able to fast travel by highlighting an area and hitting Square. I'm not sure it's an acquired ability. It just randomly told me while I was in a dungeon. |

Yeah, I missed it the first time when I was actively looking around then just kind of stumbled onto it later on. One of those hidden in plain sight, deals. I blame the field of view! He drops (dropped?) a level 10 weapon, so at level 6 I could barely do any damage with my scythe. I was able to kill him using the charge attack (500~ damage per) with a glaive.

All I want to do is play the damn game I paid full price for upstairs and downstairs. Games deserve a point off review scores for that fault alone. I guess I'll be playing Sleeping Dogs upstairs.

Are possessed weapons explained in the game somewhere? I only knew about them because of the Giant Bomb podcast (maybe it's mentioned in the Quick Look, too), but didn't think about it until I started selling some weapons and I saw that I had a possessed scythe. Started feeding it weapons, but screwed up by, for lack of a better term, wasting a +crit weapon.
Giant Bomb Jeff had mentioned you feed weapons and then it gains those abilities, but after I fed it one and nothing happened, I just started shoving everything into it. Then I saw what he meant when it leveled up and I had to chose between a strength bonus and a crit bonus. Ended up going strength since I had no idea which one would actually add more dps, but knew my strength stat was pretty low. So hopefully that does. I'm hoping at a certain point I'll be flush with cash and can buy preferred stats from the shoppe. |

I tried to fast travel out of a dungeon last night but it didn't seem to work. I pressed "A" to switch the map, but it didn't do anything. I assumed it would show the overworld map and then allow me to go somewhere else. Quote:
If neither of those things change before, or heaven forbid after, the next console is released, that'll be in - sane. Insane! |

Anyone playing on the PC?
I am hearing that the PC game is full of bugs right now. Can anyone confirm or deny? I would like to pick this up, but I'm leaning towards the PC version right now. Reason for that is I am stuck in Denver all of next week on business. Darksiders 2 would give me something to do while I'm in DEN if the PC version isn't busted. And I don't care about the lack of anti aliasing, anisotropic filter, ambient occlusion, and FXAA on the PC. I understand this is a game built for consols, then ported unlike the PC sobs that are out there bashing it. Last edited by RaijinUT; 08-15-2012 at 05:52 PM. |
