Extremely tempted at Heroes!! But despite it being ridiculously good value, I can't do it .

I just keep thinking about the ridiculous amounts of pre-orders I have coming in September!

Well personally it is, but a big part of it is probably nostalgia for me as I used to love it as a teenager. The quality was not great on the previously released individual seasons, but not much they could do about it as it was a really low budget show at the start.

Does anyone know if the single disc Tintin BluRay has all the special features on it? I don't see why it shouldn't but i've picked both it and the triple play release up in stores and the features list is different on both, but i don't know if they've maybe just encapsulated the bulk of them into one thing for the single disc cover?

Yes, it does. Triple Play edition includes DVD + Digital copy. You don't lose any extras by buying the single BD.

It's my favourite tv show of all time. It's worth a million £! Definitely a good buy at £40. That's less than £6 a season

In other news, picked up Cowboys and Aliens for 97p! Had a £5 gift voucher so used that against it

SOLD!

The only Buffy episode i've ever seen is the one where there's very little dialog and these scary guys in suits are floating around. That was pretty awesome though

What about the other Joss Whedon show "Angel"? Is it worth checking out?

It's only £33 on Amazon

Great series, I'd highly recommend it.
Track down the original DVD releases though, the "bible" sets (s2-7). Lovely editions, they are like digibooks, I only have a couple at the moment but plan on getting the rest.

The £40 set is the 3rd (or 4th re-release), 6 discs crammed into 14mm cases;
[Show spoiler]

The episode "Hush", along with "Once More with Feeling" they are my favourite episodes.

Definitely worth a watch. A lot maturer and darker in tone than Buffy (at least the early seasons of BTVS anyway) but it's fantastic TV.
