Rubbish film.

Brings nothing new to the table.

Best part is Garfield. But as soon as the Lizard turns up, everything goes to shit.

And yet, it's still better than the movies with Maguire and Snaggletooth.

I'm guessing it look pretty similar to all the other versions we've seen so far, the German one especially as that has the title written top to bottom on the spine unlike the French version.

I'm happy with that as I like that design.

I just seem to be giving all my money to HMV at the moment...

It's a decent film, but I found it a bit too much like a teen drama and not enough of a superhero film for the first half of it, which put me off slightly, but it did make up for it at the end. Just not sure that Marc "500 Days of Summer" Webb was the best choice to direct it.

Going to Pre-Order in case it goes OOS. No doubt there will be other Steelbooks for it so there's plenty of time to cancel.

I suspect it's what they're offered.

If the 2D and 3D are on the same disc, they'd do that. If it's a choice if making it a 2-discer, both Blu or a 2-dicser with 1 Blu and 1 DVD then that's the preferred option. I myself would much rather have a Blu-ray/DVD combi as I only have 1 Blu-ray player and none of my firends do.

3D still isn't popular enough to make it the default option, especially when offering it in 'funky' packaging. They want the sales a steelbook will generate, which far outweighs the ones in 3D.
