The Tall Man Blu-ray

Guys, i just watched this movie that stars Jessica Biel and i see there has been no talk of it on the forums and rightfully so considering it does not even launch into theaters until Aug. 31st and then hits Bluray just 3 or so weeks later on Sept. 25th.

Basic plot is this, in a dying town children are being kidnapped and the towns people have dubbed the elusive/mythical thing taking them as *The Tall Man*.

Now i will be very honest and admit parts of this movie, especially the first 15 or so minutes can be cheesy but once this movie gets it's plot rolling it is a really great mind-bender of a movie!! I would highly recommend owning this movie on blu-ray. It is one of those films that i think you should get your friends together to watch and you can all be stunned together as the plot unfolds and just leaves you scratching your head but ultimately brings it all together towards the end of the film!

Lastly, good on Jessica Biel for taking this role, it really is something she does not normally do and she really makes this movie work especially as towards the middle and end of this movie.

I am also looking forward to it. Martyrs was quite an exceptional film.

I watched the movie online and its so mis-marketed. Its not horror at all like it is marketed.

This truly is a lifetime movie. The twist is stupid too.

The reviews I've read are pretty divided for this movie. It also seems it is quite a departure from Martyrs. I had thought about blind buying this, but it sounds like I better watch it first.

Watched the trailer yesterday, its not helping make this film look any good

Could they not have come up with something original instead of stealing "the tall man" name from Phantasm.

Because it released onto Itunes on August 1st for some reason. It is an indie flick.

I will be blind buying this as I am a fan of Jessica Biel and horror/thriller type movies. This seems like its getting a limited theatrical release at the end of August but it dosent look like it will be playing anywhere near me

I've seen it too and i agree that it will prob end up on lifetime. Reminds me of some their other movies/theme. Not a horror film at all, but I still enjoyed it. Not sure I'd buy it withou having seen it first, the other people I watched it with hated it. They felt cheated.

Well, I know Lifetime actually plays the Resident Evil movies from time to time. So, who knows.

This was actually a really good movie. Like everyone else has said though, it's not at all what you think it'd be.
