Any advance word on how good the PQ of this Blu-ray is? Or even any screencaps - from ANY high definition version of Chainsaw 2 out there? I cannot find any. I just pre-ordered this and I cannot wait until next week. I am hoping I won't be disappointed.

They could be. It was some site claiming to be a place where you can download a 1080p, Blu-ray version of Texas Chainsaw 2. No sign of it confirming it was legit, but the page was launched yesterday. I just wondered if it might have been.

I just received my copy today, but won't have the time to watch it until tomorrow. But I had the time to take a look at it and to take some screenshots. From what I saw so far, it is a nice looking transfer, but I'm not a PQ purist afterall. Audio is just in 2.0.

Oh my god. I think those screenshots I found were legit. Am I not alone in thinking they look terrible? I wonder if I should cancel the rush delivery on my pre-order --- this doesn't look good.

They look quite good to me, especially in comparison to the dvd's.

Looks pretty good to me. Doesn't seem like they did much (if any) tinkering with it, looks nice and grainy. For now, I'm liking what I'm seeing.

Chances are someone may have possibly recieved a copy of TCM2 early and decided to post/upload info about the movie online...I checked out the screens and you can tell they are not from the DVD (I have the DVD and the images don't look as sharp and detailed) which is why I came to the conclusion that an individual simply may have recieved their copy early and....
