Default Halloween Triple Feature up for US

Saw this listed on the home page. It's from Echo Bridge and has release date of 11/6/12. I'm assuming it'll be the same as the Canadian triple feature and have Halloween 6: COMM, Ressurection and H2O? What are odds of improved transfers, etc? I have the Canadian triple feature and wonder if an upgrade will be in order or if it'll be the exact same, or just a triple pack of the existing EB releases? Anybody hear anything?

Halloween Triple Feature Blu-ray

I also find it odd that it comes out right after Halloween.

That is quite odd, but if this does come out, each Halloween will be out on BD, yes?

Anchor Bay releasing 1, 4, and 5.
Universal releasing 2.
Scream Factory releasing 2, and 3.
Echo Bridge releasing CoMM, H2O, and Busta Rhymes.

I don't plan on upgrading 4 and 5 anytime soon, but definitely picking up 2/3, and maybe if this set gets a decent review.

I've been so disappointed by the vast majority of Blu-rays being released by Echo Bridge, I doubt this new triple feature will be an improvement on the Alliance triple feature. Echo Bridge has absolutely no quality control and will release on Blu-ray whatever they have the rights to, regardless of how the transfer looks.

Probably won't know anything until someone picks this up. Lately, with Echo Bridge there is no telling what they're going to do when it comes to a multi-pack. The multi-pack that included Darkness had the PG-13 cut in the wrong aspect ratio. The individual release of The Crow: City of Angels had the R rated cut in 1080i with 2.0 audio. Supposedly, the new double pack of Crow 2 and 4 includes the director's cut with a 5.1 audio track. I found the individual release of Halloween Resurrection to have better sound quality than the Canadian triple feature.

Echo Bridge has already released 6-8 on blu-ray in the US, so they're all already out on BD.

If H20 is presented in its OAR and if Resurrection is identical to the release earlier this year, I'm a buying!

I'm going to say it probably won't be the same transfers from the Canadian but their transfers on one BD50 disc.

Saw this at Best Buy on Tuesday and almost got it (I have not purchased the individual releases), but a few things held me back. First of all, on both the cover and the spine, it carelessly lists the films out of order:

Halloween: H20
Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers
Halloween: Resurrection

If that's not bad enough, it looks like they've jammed all three films on a single disc and cut all the special features from RESURRECTION (not sure if the other two had special features to begin with). Leave it to Echo Bridge to disappoint again. PASS.

It was right on the shelf, in the "H" section. I think there were 2 or 3 copies.

I will wait until the reviews come for this, if any, if it is just as good as the Alliance I may get this or by then just get the Alliance.
Since I only liked H20 , id rather get it separately, or if the OAR is correct with the EB version Ill get that because its less money. We will see

I'm going to wager they're the same as the earlier EB releases, in which case, they're not going to be as good as the Alliance release. Really it's worth the extra cash if you watch these films a lot IMO.

The Alliance triple pack didn't have special features for Resurrection either.
