Default How many "old" games can it hold?

My gf is interested in getting a Wii for her and our daughter. She is mainly interested in the nes and snes titles those and the new Zelda.

My question is this how many games can the Wii store on its built in 512mb? I am assuming that you can fit quite a few. I know you can put a SD card in the front of the Wii. Can you store and play games from there as well?

Do the games ever expire?

Sorry if these ?'s have been asked already.

if you are realy stuck then find out how many mb a Nintendo 64 caterage can hold then divide that by 512 and you will get a rough number give or take 5

oka from wiki each game had a maxium of 32 mb to work with 30 divid by 500 is around 15 games

I just found that they say the biggest n64 cartridge was 64MB so I guess it should hold allot of games with out a SD card.

can't you just buy like a 1 or 2gb SD card and store em on those? you could also move the data between the card and system with your PC and a card reader/writer.

Just a thought.

alot of people buy the Wii for older games, funny I've had them for years on my PC and all it cost me was $19.99 for a control pad and some time looking around the emulation/rom sites.

have yet to find a good n64 emulator though.

That is my plan anyway.
