Did you check the links?

None of them have release dates. They seem to just be placeholders from searches.

Willow REALLY deserves a clean up job and a re-release.
If there are ANY movie gods and goddesses this will happen soon.
(This year is the twentieth anniversary after all)

I saw that, but why would Amazon have them show up on the home Blu-Ray page if they weren't in the works?

I signed up for notifications on a bunch of stuff this morning, including Willow. Hopefully, Amazon will pass the word on to the studios if they get a ton of "sign up for availability" email subscriptions.

Hey, I can hope...

Warning: this release, for the first time in the quarter-century history of "Spinal Tap" releases on VHS and DVD, contains material not created by, or even seen by, the creators of the film--Rob, Chris, Michael, and me. The "game" included as an extra was created by we don't know who, featuring we don't know as "us". So buyers beware....

As long as the movie is there along with all of extras you did participate in, who really cares?

None of those mean anything

And you are unlikely to see Stargate SG-1 for a very long time in HD beyond the direct to video movies. The cost of redoing the first 5 seasons is simply too high

Harry,

Yes Harry, I do believe it's really you, because I can't imagine anyone in their right mind impersonating Harry Shearer online. Okay, now that I got that kick in the balls out of the way, I can appreciate your distress at some unknowns portraying characters you and your colleagues created, regardless of who's "intellectual property" these identities legally belong to. Tim Burton managed to force Disney to recall and destroy thousands of DVD copies of Ed Wood when it contained a featurette that had nothing to do with his film. But if he hadn't been able to, would he really have asked the internet community to consider a boycott?

And isn't that what you're essentially doing here (albeit a little cryptically)? Look, I'll probably never click on that stupid "game", but I'm not going to refuse to buy one of my favorite films on blu-ray just because it's there. Especially if they restore the burnt-in title cards missing from the DVD version. And don't you get paid royalties either way? I don't think a product boycott of a catalog film with (admittedly rabid but still) limited cult appeal. It's the kind of release we're lucky to be getting this early, and it's an unlikely double-dip any time soon. And while I appreciate your beef with MGM/Fox, I don't feel like going to war over it.

they will wait to release Willow when they finish filming Shadow Moon....I thought everyone knew that..It is the sequel to Willow and takes place 17 years after the original...it would only be normal, IMO..

I've seen other lists on various websites indicating that Fargo is planned for BD release. It would be surprising if they weren't planning it since it's one of those rarities, a critical and commercial success - and one of the best films of the 90's. I'll be astonished if it doesn't appear on Blu-ray during 2009.
