I am a big fan of the series, and I was expecting the fourth installment. Now lets get the first three on Blu.

The first three were based on the original book series. This one has two of the "new" books to chose from. or it could just be a whole new original movie.

I thought the third one really wrapped everything up... Not sure how they are going to continue on with the series and hope that they don't take anything away from it... seeing as there were only 3 books in the story (not that they completely followed the books any ways). I'll definitely be seeing it though.

no there are actually five books. The Bourne Conspiracy and some thing else. TBC is now being made into a video game.

But only the first three books were actually written by Robert Ludlum. The other books (of which there are now 3) were written by by Eric Van Lustbader. I have read the Bourne Trilogy but have not read the new ones. Something just seems wrong about carrying on the legacy there.... But that's me.

But back on topic here... Bourne really was a trilogy... seems like everyone wants to make a series of it. I liked how they ended it and am now torn. I want to see the new one... but the end of Ultimatum really felt like the end of it to me.

Another one? Why ruin such a good set of movies? Once you get past three, there's no going back...

But on the other hand, if it's as good as the other ones, bring it on!

First 3 read... Jason Bourne always is one step ahead of the game and they have to counter everything he does..very pro-active character. Where as in the "new" 3 books.. he's more of trying to counter everything they do, reacting to THEY'RE next move.. reads more like a bond book than a bourne book.

Will be interesting though, will probably take a look.
