Pirates Cover Art - Blu-ray Forum

Hi. I have seen the cover art for the Blu-Rays of the first two Pirates of the Carribean movies on here in the past and was wondering if someone could send them to me.

All hail the Blu-Ray of "The Untouchables"!!! July 3rd! Here endeth the lesson!

The men cheered! The women fainted! The children waved multi-colored flags!!!

I have not seen cover art for the second pirates movie anywhere just the first, but it could be around.

Do they really need that much silver branding on the front covering the artwork? I find it a real eyesore, looks tacky.

I hope they remove the silver lining before they release the two POTC movies. I'm sick of the "HD" brand on some Blu-Ray titles.

Sony and Fox are more subtle while Disney is using the "IN-YOUR-FACE" approach. Warner Bros. never used any, Paramount used to but they stopped it with Babel.

The silver branding indicates a Disney Blu-ray DVD. If you look at other Disney Blu-ray DVDs, i.e. Dinosaur or Eight Below, they all have that silver branding. Disney signed exclusively with Blu-ray to display their films in high definition. HD-DVD does not carry Disney films.

The Pirates 2 cover is in this forum courtesy of phloyd. You have to look for it. There's a link in the Apocalist to a bigger POTC 1 cover that the one above, just not in the main lists but down below.

I really enjoyed that first one. Should be awesome on BD, and real blockbuster that will hopefully break the Amazon top 10 again.

The second Pirates...meh.
