Dead Island Trophy Cleanup Thread

The mission and purpose of this thread is to gather members of the trophy hunting community here on bluray.com in one concise place in order to obtain the handful of online trophies for the game Dead Island. This additional thread will filter out extra posts from the already traffic heavy official trophy hunters thread and provide a place for the group to gather, schedule meets and discuss the events of this particular trophy set and hunt.

In the spirit of the Wildcats trophy thread, members will volunteer their names and psn ids in an effort to help each other earn the trophies that they could not otherwise earn themselves.

SET YOUR GAME OPTIONS TO PRIVATE There are just TOO MANY 7-year-olds playing this game!!

I never thought I would have to add a post like this, but I've been burned too many times so here it is.

Be cool to your brothers.

If someone is helping you out with this game, please realize that they are donating HOURS of their time to YOUR cause so make it a good time.

Leave your troubles at the door. If you are having a bad day, don't take it out on someone who is trying to help you. [I mean...seriously]

If you are stepping into a group who knows eachother really well, please don't jump to the offensive when something is said that is not in complete union with your beliefs. No one is deliberately trying to hurt anyone here, so if something bothers you, try to take care of it in a manner that is not completely lame and awkward for everyone involved.

Please keep your mic and surround levels at a normal volume for YOUR hearing. We don't need to hear delays in communication, your giant @$$ sub-woofer or your girlfriend talking about how stupid you are for playing Dead Island with a bunch of strangers.

And finally,

We play this game all across the US nationally and sometimes internationally.

We are all from different backgrounds, faiths, sexual orientation and political beliefs, so until you KNOW the group you are with, let's keep it about killing zombies and generally F#^kin $h!t up!!

People Person
Play with 10 different co-op partners for at least 15 minutes each

Menage a Trois
Complete 5 quests with 3 co-op partners

Originality
Play in a co-op team of 4 different playable characters
(each person picks a different game character)

Together in the Light
Complete 5 quests in a single co-op game with your game partner.
(only one person is needed for this)

Going Steady
Complete 25 quests while playing with at least one co-op partner.

I am willing to help if I can. Usually on early mornings and early evenings which is weird. I already have platinum, though. I have 2.2 Mbs backwoods DSL, and I get kicked off a lot.

What is the best way to setup the online modes for Dead Island??

It was a bit more rigid with the Wildcats trophy, because 8 people had to meet in the same place at the same time.

From what people in the trophy thread have been saying, it looks like pretty everyone online for Dead Island will be US.

If anyone is near their ps3s right now, they should add me and anyone else they want to play with. I'm at work right now, so I won't pick up the adds until tonight.

I'll try to play this more tonight, but it is hard to keep getting creamed and stay interested /

Belts and other things looted all over the place can be used at the workbenches to make mods and other items. I don't remember what belts are specifically used for, but I know duct tape is invaluable for lots of stuff.

I'd recommend hoarding as many belts, tapes, wires, gears, scraps, etc. as you can until you need it, and then sell off any extras you don't need (I set the limit at 20 of everything).
