Default Same Titles on BD & HD DVD

Is this one of the best indicators as to support/adoption?

The Departed was the first big same title event? BD 1 - HD 0

What is Round 2? Which battles to watch now? Is the Planet Earth set a good or bad one to watch considering the high price? Currently @ Amazon;

BD 280
HD 443

Lol, I don't think the Planet Earth set is going to give anybody much insight as to where the battle stands.

May indicate how desperate the fanboys are to buy something new.

I am afraid the HD-CAMP might try and convince the 3 neutral studios to release all new releases on the Total disc (HD-DVD one side and BLU-RAY the other side). Doing so would hide the fact that HD-DVD sales are not as good. I hate the total disc concept but stores love it since they just stock one disc for both formats.
With total disc sales both formats coexist and you can not track sales numbers to which side is winning. If total disc takes off then the only way to track how well each format is doing is how many players were sold.

**Boycott Total Disc, for consumers that want both formats they can always purchase a universal player**

THD sounds like a slimey way to keep HD DVD in the running for no reason at all....

they COULD...in theory use this to buy enough time to gain some sort of momentum if they manage to steal some studio support or manufacturer support from Sony....and then things will appear to be more balanced...

when they really are not at all...

I encourage all to buy a PS3 if they want to watch HD movies and don't want to spend 100.......because we all know Samsungs reputation in the DVD world...I am not a samsung fan and their player is the 2nd cheapest to my knowledge..
