Default Too much Paramount Blu-ray news in the last few days for something to not be up

Surely Paramount will let their Blu-ray (and HD DVD) plans out of the bag in the next day or two and put off the speculation.

Apparently many HD DVD titles canceled and Blu-ray versions showing up in warehouses. Time to let us all know officially I say.

Boewolf is a good example, it's not being announced on HD-DVD in the TV commercial anymore, but it was announce for the email subscribers.

Another thing, I wound'nt be suprised to see transformers and blades of glory, both titles already exist on blu-ray before paramount went HD-DVD, so I'm pretty sure we'll see them sooner than expected

The Beowulf TV spots originally said DVD & HD DVD. The current one lacks the HD portion, however it is available in stores (I bought it earlier this afternoon when I picked-up 30 Days Of Night on Blu-ray)

I dont think we will see an announcement until March 4th. That is the day the embargo on the There Will Be Blood specs is lifted. I think that they will have a big announcement and let it be known what other titles are slated for release. Now there is the rumor of Cloverfield for a 4/22 release. Which i have stated before on other threads that CLoverfield will be there first title back to blu. We shall see if my previous statements hold up

I am not convinced of ANYTHING Paramount. As far as I am concerned, EVERYTHING is a rumor until I read an OFFICIAL announcement from the company.

There are supposedly 12 titles on slate, but have only seen rumors, no confirmations of anything at this point.

I am expecting a BIG announcement from Paramount on March 4th. Obviously, a lot is happening behind the scenes without being announced right now.

Though I am no longer as sure due to reports regarding "Bee Movie", "There Will Be Blood" and "Cloverfield", I felt that "The Spiderwick Chronicles" would be the first Day & Date title available from Paramount... but that they could (possibly) get titles currently released on HD DVD out sooner.

Last year though, I also expected "Cloverfield" to be the first D&D Blu-ray title from Paramount... and yes, I said last year. I always expected Paramount to be back to releasing on Blu-ray by this Summer.

Paramount is pressing BDs as we speak. Someone with ties to Paramount(and no I won't say who or where this is from) has basically said that we'll be seeing Paramount Bds within weeks, not months. Every studio will be making BDs this year.

When I can pre-order it from Amazon.com then I'll believe it. Bee Movie isn't available for pre-order.

Same goes for the BEE MOVIE, they are not promoting it on the tv commercials.
