Earthquake in UK

I was awake when this happened, the house shook like for a minute, my immediate reactions was like

"WTF!!, an earthquake?! this is the UK, we're not supposed have earthquakes"

Luckily everything returned to normal but some people were more affected, whereas i was far enough to only feel the trmors for a minute & them do no damage

where in the UK?. Maybe the guy next door was giving his women a good seeing too, you know "did the earth move for use as well"

I was in the area affected..... and I slept blissfully.
maybe this is due to that I am Indonesian (country which is "subscribed" to earthquake).

I experienced earthquake much more severe than that what happened in UK (by richter scale). I was in Indonesia when 2004 huge tsunami happened - actually I followed it beginning when it was an earthquake, then the sealine withdrawal, then shockingly tsunami.

I was in that half-awake/half-asleep dream state and felt the tremors and heard things shaking but didn't relise until the morning what had happened.

Well, I live in the East cost of US. I have never experience any earth quake here, not that I'm aware of anyway. I was in San francisco last year and nothing happen but it happened a week after I left. My friend called and told me about it. I was like man wish I were there when it happen, not a bad one though. just enough for me to feel it.

I was fully awake and watching Eastern Promises on Blu.. Didnt feel a thing!

I felt the earthquake too. The building had been wobbling all day due to the high winds but this was different... I sat up and noticed. I did not hear any rumbling as I was watching POTC AWE at the time on a Blu.

Wierd... my first earthquake and I wasn't even abroad
