Will buy it on day one.

(May keep my DVD version,... undecided.)

Love BeetleJuice,.. Have been waiting for the Blu,.. was worried it may look really bad in HD. If you've seen it on DVD,.. you may know what I mean. Some of the special effects work looks pretty poor these days.

There's been a lot of talk about a Special Edition for this year. I believe Warner even mentioned it in their last chat with Home Theater Forum. I'll see if I can dig the quote up. Not to mention there's a big push of merchandise coming timed to coincide with it. Action Figures from NECA, etc.

This shouldn't surprise anyone. Warner already said they intend on releasing a Blu-ray version of every catalog title they re-release as a special edition DVD this year. Great news for us. Hope they go the extra mile on these and they look/sound great on Blu.

Yes, I can't wait to get this on Blu. I just hope that when it comes out, there won't be a screw up as with past Warner titles(T3 for example).
