Default Fox's digital copy

You guys have more than likely discussed this some with Hitman having a dvd included, but I just noticed that Juno will have it it as well. It beats the heck out of the double sided disc that Universal was trying to pull.. So what do you guys think?? I am thinking that it is nice of them to throw in a regular copy since they charge so much for their BD's to begin with.

(Side note)
They call it a digital copy.. I guess they are trying to elimate the term DVD from home media lingo. Espcially since toshiba has gone down in flames... Also check out the message on www.thelookandsoundofperfect.com ---- HAHAHAHA

I think it's cool but it just looks stupid having it slapped across the top of all the movies.

Yes, those "digital copies" are unfortunately Ipod compatible files that will have to be unlocked through Itunes. No, thanks. Not an Apple fan here.

I was wondering about that, actually. I'm sure there's a way to remove the DRM so that I can get it onto my PSP...

I bought family guy blue harvest and it came with a copy, it made me angry because instead of a code to download it from iTunes, they had an extra DVD for you to get the movie and then enter the code. Its a pretty bad idea when they give you an extra DVD and has no purpose after redeeming the movie. I hope they fix this soon, have the copy in the bluray to transfer to the psp thru ps3 or just have a code to enter on itunes.

Putting it on the Blu-ray disc with the movie wouldn't be a good idea since not too many people have Blu-ray drives.

true, well atleast they should find another way to distribute the digital copies rather than putting it on a DVD and have no use for it afterwards.

I didn't get to try it on a psp since I dont got one but I dont think it have drm protection on it since it isn't actually bought from iTunes and that it can be used in other download sites.

Sony will do this as another selling point for the PS3 and PSP.

They could do that on Sony Pictures movies, but the other studios won't bother with it.

I just hope it doesn't cost more, like the HD Dead combo di$cs.

I don't use any portable devices at all to view my movies... I don't get watching a movie on a 2" screen

For me, it would be a waste of money, and I'm already spending too much on my Blu-ray collection.
