The Spaghetti Western collection £6.97 from Amazon should have been at least three times that price but Amazon had a glitch where the price came to £6.97. One of my all time bargains.

My other one was not really a bargain as no money was exchanged and that was The Girl with Dragon Tattoo which I won in a Facebook competition.

when i went in my local hmv, where they have put the replacment discs in the steels they have put that security tape all round the them to stop people from stealing them, rather than putting them in the bag and then security taping them so they have that sticky crap all over them. £18 was the cheapest on ebay then they were around £30 up to £45.

Just bought The Bourne Trilogy from Zavvi for under £9 (with my 10% off code), that's less than £3 a film. I think I paid between £2 & £3 each for the s/hand DVD's in charity shops. So there's just no way I can pay £15-£18 for a new Blu-ray title, I just can't do it

Just remembered The Artist. £6 from Tesco not that long after it had come out. I was really debating whether I was going to blind buy it or not and the great price convinced me that it would be worth the investment. Glad it did because it's a great film!

Bargain price but the Digibook has reeled me in! With all of the preorders I have at the moment, I may have to pick up the UK one instead though!

At the moment October & November have been expensive months for me

At the moment October & November have been expensive months for me & I still need to pick up Brave, Secret Wings, James & The Giant Peach & Madagascar 3 for the kids

I've been tempted for the last few months in importing the Peanuts Holiday collection too but i'll hold off!

*EDIT* Don't know what went wrong with this post lol!

You have a point but I like the digibooks.

It's not in the 5 for £30 anymore at HMV but a great price nevertheless! It was in the offer in-store last week, so they must rotate their offers I guess??

Mine would have had to be the Tarantino BD boxed set for £14.99 on Very.

I would never usually dream of buying a blu ray from there as they are extortionate (most new releases £29.99 when they are >£15.00 at the usual sites. I was just having a browse on their site out of curiousity and saw it under the coming soon section as £69.99 reduced by £55.00. Ordered it assuming it was a pricing error and they wouldn't fulfil it especially as it was a pre-order. It disappeared off the site so I assumed I wouldn't be getting it but then they called me to tell me that the supplier had sent them the wrong pricing and it was supposed to be £69.99RRp with £15 off price £55.00. However they said they were honouring orders maximum 2 per person.

Is that for the current Tarantino box set or the preorder for the Tarantino XX box set? If it's the latter OMG!!

I think my bargains of the year are:
just go with it: £3.50
Torchwood miracle day: £4.99
Rome complete series: £14.99
Would getting a disc from the Disney movie rewards points for free come under a bargain? If so add John Carter: free
