Macbook Air (Black)

Don't know too much about Apple and Macs do we?

I'm a devout Mac user with many Macs from different gens at my house and I can't seem to find a black one.

They'll do iPods in colors, but Macs aren't likely to come out in green apple or anything else anytime soon.

But hey, you never know.

Do you not recall the original iMacs that came in all different colors, bondi blue and the like.

OP - I seriously doubt that they will get a black version of the macbook air. The casing is like the powerbook/macbook pro casings, and they've been the brushed aluminum for sometime. The black and white models only come in the macbooks

Yep. Apple doesn’t make Black/metal laptops. They only make the Black macbooks and old PowerBooks.

I'd say it's really going to depend on how well the Air sells this first year. But honestly, I would imagine Apple is more concerned with the Air's tiny harddrive capacity over case color right now.

I think Apple is going to stay with the Aluminum design for the near future. I would not expect the air to come in black.
