Default Advice on New TV?

OK, so I have a Sony 60A2020 right now and am pretty freaking pleased with myself. I have a Denon AV1707 receiver as well. As of now, my only source is my PS3...and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Oh, I use DVI-HDMI out of my computer as well, but that's neither here nor there.
Anyways, I plan on getting a new receiver/TV in the near future when I get my new place. I want 120hz, 60-65" for my TV. I won't be mounting it. For the receiver, I want 7.1 and HDMI. I'm not particularly picky after that, though I have had my eyes on the Pioneer VSX-1017TXV-K for a bit now. By the time I get the place it will probably be outdated anyways.
I like the Samsung HL-T6187S a lot. I don't like the idea of LCD/Plasma being unserviceable (at least, I can't just pop a new bulb in and go like my last few TVs) but I guess that's the way it is now. People apparently want disposable TVs =(
I'm talking to some co-workers at Magnolia but none of them seem to really have my purposes in mind. I play games and watch Blu Ray. I don't watch TV or need to see my own personal home movies/pictures on the big screen.
So yeah. Any advice would be spiffy!

By the time you get ready to buy a new receiver the Pioneer 1018 should be out (Pioneer's new lines come out in May I believe). It is the 1017's successor, and if I'm not mistaken it wouldn't cost you much more.

It supposedly will be capable of processing HDMI audio, which I believe the 1017 cannot do. I was thinking of upgrading my 1014 to the 1017 but I think I'll just wait on the newer model.

you've got a pretty freakin nice tv, have you dumped lots of $$ into the speakers/sub? just a thought before you replace the tv...

Right now, they are pretty basic 75w AIWA speakers. I don't have the ability to crank the sound up loud enough for me to warrant more at this time. I was gonna put decent speakers in-wall, but that's not happening until late this year when I move into my new place. I wanted to start with stuff I could use 'early' so to speak

As for the 1018, that sounds close enough that I can wait. I get Pioneer products for a substantial discount (often 50-60% off) so a few bucks more isn't going to kill my budget.

Any opinions on Motionflow or whatever? The frame smoothing technology. I actually like it but I was wondering what it does to games...

The only reason I'm getting a new TV is because I'm giving the 2020 to my grandma for her living room. It'll be nice for her not to have to wear glasses to see her TV and I think it'll be awesome for her to be the first of her friends to have Blu Ray and HD TV
