Default Which Is Most Important To You?

Which graphics-related feature is most important to you? AKA, which of these features should be staples for a next-gen PS3-quality gaming experience?

I chose downloadable content, but 60fps is up there too. I can put up with 720p too as long as the game is good.

Companies need to start supporting their games better. We pay 60 smacks and just get a thanks and I'll be on my way from the game companies.

Games that are shooters (Warhawk, et all) and sports games must have downloadable content--new maps, weapons, stats, players, etc.

But really, the "next-gen" experience must have all of the stuff mentioned, except six-axis, which is a novelty that's not good for most games (perhaps a part here and there though) and split-screen.

I put split screen just because so many games are non-offline multiplayers. UT3 and Motorstorm both annoyed me about that. This is one of the reasons I'm looking forward to HAZE so much. I don't find myself interested in contemporary war games like COD4 because it seems so real. I understand the game is amazing. it just isn't for me. HAZE on the otherhand takes place 40 years in the future. That's far enough away that I can suspend my disbelief and enjoy it. But if it didn't have offline multiplayer, I wouldn't buy it...

Motorstorm's lack of split-screen really got to me. Normally, I don't play games split-screen but since I was one of the first of my friends to get the PS3, I would have been able to have them over, get them psyched about the game, and have them go out and buy one! It's worked for the PSOne, PS2, and it worked back in the Dreamcast days...though admittedly, we never ended up playing more than a few games on it so...yeah.
Tekken: DR actually sold almost a dozen systems for friends of mine not wanting the others to get an 'edge' so they hurried out and bought their own system!

You do understand that most 1080p PS3 games look like absolute sh1t, don't you? Uncharted is only 720p and is by far the most graphically impressive game ever. The PS3 doesn't have the RAM to run a game natively at 1080p and it look decent.

60fps is a must in my book no questions ask. ive played plenty of 30fps and it just doesnt feel as responsive or look as good as a game running in 60fps.

I agree with savage1984. Offline multiplayer is a must for me. I don't like playing games online, I like playing them with my family and friends. I think Unreal Tournament 3 would have been a lot funner with offline multiplayer. I think it's a lot funner to be in the room with the people you are playing against. What's the use of being able to use up to seven controllers with your system, when most games aren't made for more than one. So split screen for me.

In order of importance to me:

1080p (I hate less than sharp images on my TV...messes with my eyes)
5.1+ lossless (as they say...sound is half the experience)
Split-screen (only because it means multiplayer. Off-line is also important to me)
60fps (smooth motion is a great thing to have to add to your gaming experience)

A year ago I would have said 1080p.. but if a game looks beautiful and runs like crap-- I can't deal with it. 60fps is the top for me, but 1080p+60fps = <3.

I like the split screen, but what does that have to do with graphics?

Is 30fps something you would say "runs like crap" to?

I would have to go with story line. Not a huge fan of great graphics with a lack luster game, so I can't vote for anything.
