Default Forbidden Planet BD counts as how many movies?

Cannot find my 10-17-12 post in this forum titled: “BD total count off again?”

Deciazulado (site manager) & Marwin & Iceman (developers) all responded along with a few other members.

But it was discovered that FP had counted as 2 & was changed to 1. Which changed the BD collection total.

Today I added a BD & my collection jumped by 2 instead of 1 & I see that FP is once again counting as 2!

I’m not particularly advocating for it to count as either 1 or as 2 ... but, please make up your minds. Why keep changing it back & forth to repeatedly change up our totals?

Thanks.

It has one Blu-ray movie. The feature-length film The Invisible Boy is 480p and included as a supplement. A member submitted for the "unique count" to be listed as two and it was approved. I just made a correction on this . Per the site manager, unique movies indicates the number of Blu-ray movies.

OK but, were you the one who had changed it from 2 movies to one movie a month ago? I’m guessing....no.

If several different people have the ability to change the unique count, w/o knowing what has happened b4, won’t this type of thing continue to happen? 1 or 2 months from now a different person will submit for the UC to change to 1 & a different moderator, not knowing what you just did, will change it back. Seems a fix is needed. Perhaps some database where when considering a change to the UC, a mod will check to see if that BD has already been changed.

Again, I have no problem with however a BD is counted but, don’t think it good policy to change the UC back & forth.

Thanks.

There are individuals people with privis to change or approve member submissions. People do need to be more careful when approving member submissions, specially when the site manager has been making corrections such as the ones we are discussing. At this point, there should not be approvals for changes to the unique count of Blu-ray movies as everything has already been disected. Also, there is a change log where the edits/changes are recorded .

I guess for those movies we'll have to add DON'T CHANGE NUMBERS OF MOVIES to 2 in the movie count comment field in Caps so people see it?

Thanks, I see one of my threads was merged into a different thread which explains why I could not find it.

I searched for the title: “BD total count off again?” But, it had been merged with: “Movie/theatrical/game collection feedback”
