Nice, second Supergirl thread in a short span. Hopefully someone from WB is out there paying attention. The more people ask for it, the more better chance we have to get it!

It took seemingly forever for a DVD release, so I wont expect one any time soon. It would be nice though.

Anchor Bay originally released it in a limited edition 2-disc set with the theatrical and international cuts of the film back around 1999 or 2000 I believe.

Having been gulible and willing to pay Anchor Bay for the effort, I picked it up...

No need to bother with a Blu-ray release, IMHO.

It'd be nice if Anchorbay released it as they did on SD as they put together a pretty decent 2 Disc Edition for a largely maligned flick that many younger viewers have never heard of. It's Superman, so I am obligated to at least own it (as opposed to owning it and loving it...which I'm not sure if I'm ready to make that sort of decree, now Helen Slater I openly state a love for).

I'd rather have Anchor Bay release something else first to be honest... Hell, I'd buy Beastmaster (assuming the master is good) before this one.

I would buy it in a heartbeat. Maybe Starz can release something like the 2 disc limited edition they did on dvd, though Warner since then has released Supergirl also on dvd.

Not one of my favorites. However I hope it does come to BD format with some new special features thats BD-exclusive so that it would attract more people to the BD format.

Yeah: Warner still doesn't own it.

(But if it's still at Starz/Anchor Bay, as the SD edition was, at least it's safe.)
