Default ANIME recommendations please!

Hey everyone I'm new here(though I dont know how I've not been here haha) and am on a pretty tight budget as far as buying stuff for myself goes right now(saving for house/wedding, fiance will kill me if I go too crazy). Been into anime for a while, have a lot popular stuff like bebop, akira, trigun, miyazaki movies, last exile, black lagoon, eva, full metal brotherhood, eden of the east, sel, xam'd etc.

I'm looking for recommendations of series to buy that are fun to watch. Preferably new-ish series as I probably am familiar with most shows that are 2-3+ years old but I have been out of the loop recently. Preferably bluray but either is fine. I like epic feeling shows that draw you in, action, and a little fanservice doesn't hurt. Was looking at steins;gate and deadmans wonderland and they seem cool, though deadmans isn't on blu ray. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Oh if it helps eva 2.22, FMA: brotherhood are what I'd consider fun to watch, both being among my top 10. Also, I thought last exile felt and watched great though not quite as fun, also in my top 10 animes. Xam'd has a cool "feel" to it as well even though I didn't love the anime I did like it because of the feel. I don't know how to describe that but last exile and xam'd "feel " similar to me haha.

I'm mostly a Studio Ghibli fan, but I recently watched Children Who Chase Lost Voices and Origin: Spirits of the Past and thought both were pretty good.
