Hey guys! I just recently joined these forums after reading them for almost a year...and today I went and bought the game Warhawk, mainly because most of the people who post here say it's a fun multi-player game...I'm sure there have already been threads started about this, but if anyone would like to show a newbie the ropes online, my id is joesway. I also have no friends (online, lol), so if there's anyone out there just looking for someone to add, send me an invite!

I'm on a fair amount, I recently got the game too.... probably 4 weeks ago. My ID is the same as my name. I have found that one of the best places to gain points is in the 4v4 CTF rooms. Those are also some of the most fun, but you don't get to use the warhawk much in those games. I mix it up because the warhawk is great once you learn a bit. It's a steep learning curve, but stick with it, this is one of the best games I have ever played for any system!

MLB The Show just came out, so I'll be on WH just a little less, but I'm still playing (CTF 99% of the time).

Hey guys. I was planning on buying this tomorrow. I'm trying to find out where I want to buy it. It's 39.99 on PSN and 59.99 at Best Buy. The 59.99 has the headset but is there something else in there I don't know about. I don't want to pay $20 for a headset I'll most likely not use.

It's just extra for the headset. I bought the PSN version last year and then bought a good headset.

The physical version is only good if you need the headset and/or you like having tangible discs around.

The disc allows you to play under ANY account on your system. The download only allows you to play under the single account you purchased it with. That's a big deal to me personally with multiple people using our console. In addition to having a few aliases for several accounts.

The disc also allows you to have LAN parties with multiple consoles and with 4-player splitscreen it's realistic to do.

The disc can be resold/traded in.

While the download can be downloaded to multiple consoles .. you have to wait 24 hours after playing on one before playing is allowed on the other AFAIK.

The ONLY advantages I can see for the download is you don't have to get up to put in a disc and the download never gets damaged like a disc can - although the blu-ray discs are quite durable anyway.
