My first DVD steelbook was Spiderman 3. My first blu ray steelbook was FS Iron Man.

I just went to pick up Iron Man and saw they had the steelbook packaging. I still remember what I thought to myself as I picked it up. " Only a sucker would buy the amaray case.".

According to my receipt, the first one I purchased was The Matrix that BBY had on sale this summer. Realized I didn't wanna double dip since I had the trilogy so took it back. So that would make 300 as my first SB purchase.

My first steelbook ever was actually 2 that I bought from Best Buy when they were cheap. I got Sucker Punch and 300. Not a huge fan of the movies but I wanted both of them on my shelf :P

Upon first glance I thought this was a stupid idea for a thread but here I am playing along. My one and only steelbook is Scarface. Nothing against steelbooks, I actually prefer them. They are just not readily available. I wish my whole collection was steel!

I've only got two steelbooks and the first one I purchased was Sherlock Holmes, the other being Batman Begins.

I assume it doesn't have to be a Blu Ray. Mine was the Limited Edition of Appleseed on DVD released in 2005. I had never seen a steelbook before, and the moment I saw it, I had to have it.
