Default Want a modestly featured blu ray DVD Player

I ask for your recommendations for a blu-ray DVD player. I do not want a high-end fully featured state-of-the-art player such as a Pioneer or Denon. I want a modestly priced player costing under $400 that will provide a rich and clear picture and excellent sound.

The player will not be used for gaming or any interactive feature. It will be used solely for viewing and enjoying blu-ray movie's videos and sound tracks.

It will be cabled to a Pioneer VSX-82TSX A/V Receiver by HDMI. The A/V will be cabled to a 50” LG Plasma HDTV by HDMI and to eight MK speakers and woofer.

Your recommendations are appreciated.

Yeah, PS3 is the way to go, 40GB models are only $399, but I say, dish out the extra $100 and go for the 80GB. This way you get the backward compatability and all of the other features. You'll be happy with it, it's a great blu-ray player, it has fast loads and wireless internet capability for updates. It's a sweet deal.

make sure you pick up the PS3 remote from amazon($20) so you don't have to worrie about charging the ps3 controller.

only bad part about the ps3 is it doesn't have DTS HD sound. but the dolby true hd and pcm are awesome
