Do all PS3 games work in any PS3 - Blu-ray Forum

the reason i am asking is i am in australia and i am going to USA for 2 weeks holiday want to get some games there like virtua Tennis 3, UT3 etc

If you're playing in high definition you won't have any problems but keep in mind:

Some games like UTIII split online gaming into regions like US, EU and Asia (I think I read they're patching the game to bring everyone together but don't quote me on that)
I think DLC for some games like Warhawk may only work if the game and DLC are from the same region, same goes for save games

IMPORTANT :
games may be region free, but DL content is not : I bought US Folklore, and European DL content and IT WON'T WORK!!!

i imported some games from the US a basketball and a hockey one and they both worked fine in my aussie ps3 so you should be fine as others have said.

I'm asking if US games can also be played on Europe PS3 (zone 2) ? I understood that all games are not region free like BD's ...

I think you got it the wrong way.

All BDs are not region free like games. All PS3 games are region free.

All games are region free, you'll only have problems with differing standard definition supported resolutions if you're not using an HDTV.
