Default Are there any headphones that support DTS-HD/MA, DolbyTruHD or any Blu-ray capable?

Hi.

Are there any headphones that support DTS-HD/MA, DolbyTruHD or any Blu-ray audio capable that are selling in the USA?

I want to play blu-ray from computer and wants to hear all the sounds that blu-ray offers, either 5.1 or 7.1 with either wired (3.5mm/USB/Wireless) that support play DTS-HD/MA, DolbyTruHD or any Blu-ray audio

I don't really understand your question, as headphones themselves will play whatever you send them. Do you mean headphones with a base station that accepts those formats? Wireless?

Yes, I meant that.
I mean the headphones that support either 5.1 or 7.1 and support those formats, which also includes wired and wireless.

Thought so. haven't looked in a while but the only available a few months ago where the Sony MDR-DS7500, and those were only available in Japan then. Maybe they're now available in the US.

I guess you Googled?

Edit: They are available through Amazon, but pretty pricey

Edit 2: There seems there will be another player come Jan. 1st from Mozaex, called Bluwavs. Though no prices from what I can see, I would guess way above the Sonys considering the harware.

Oh, thanks for reply.

Is that only one who supports those format, that I talked about earlier?

Cause I was hoping to buy at retail stores in USA.

And it says they have to buy and import from Japan, cause I need it right away.

Also, it doesn't have to be only wireless.

I'm also considering wired headset that supports those format (DTS-HD/MA, DolbyTruHD).

So, it is first one that has been made?

I think so, and yes only from Japan it seems. There will be the other ones in my 2nd edit, but found some prices on the site, starting at $1295 and up. Those better be damn fine at those prices

Oh, I just saw 2nd link, it seems it has headset and blender console, which looks like stacks of Cisco/Netgear switch.

Edit 1: It has these - BluWavs have a retail price of $1,695 USD and include the BluWavs Station and one set of Headphones. Additional Headphones have a retail price of $895.
So, it means we can add more headphone/headsets.

Edit 2: So, I just hope there will be more stuffs like these, but also have cheaper ones that support even only one headset, unlike BluWavs ones support more then one.

Edit 3: This is the flyer or spec sheet for it.

IMO you're better off getting a high quality pair of headphones (sennheiser, beyerdynamic, ultrasone, etc) and using a yamaha receiver. Yamaha receivers have something called "silent cinema" which is their version of headphone surround. It works with truehd and dts-hd. I have a yamaha rx-v371 receiver and I use a pair of ultrasone pro 900 headphones with it and it sounds really, really nice.

Oh, ok.

Thanks for reply.

I guess it seems that I have to spend more money then I expected to spend, which I thought I only have to buy headset/headphone that support "DTS-HD/MA, DolbyTruHD or any Blu-ray audio" feature and now I see that I might need to use receiver, which I don't even have.

Anyway, thanks for reply.
