Does the Japanese/Asian version have antialiasing in the 3D menu scenes? I know the demo didn't.

No, I have the game for confirmation of the validity.

looks like Prologue will be a double dip for me. Hey, if they redid the event structure, its like a whole new game. okay, yes im trying to justify my purchase.

Lol, ya a "demo" with more functionality and content than some full games out there.

If you want to wait another year for the full thing, be my guest, to each his own.

HA +1 now this game will be worth it. i was contemplating earlier if it was worth 40 bucks for an almost bare bones game(JP version) but now im definitely gonna get prologue.

i mean i understand its more than a demo, obviously. but its in no way a full game and the only reason its being released is because the full game is nowhere near ready and they want to start milking ps3 owners and pull in new owners.

i think its a joke to pay 40 bucks for this. i enjoyed the demo from the jap store tho lol

There's a difference between scheming to "milk" gamers and releasing Prologue because gamers continue to ask for it. There's no plot by Sony to screw over the consumer here. As was noted before, Prologue is bigger than a lot of "full" racing games and the physics and graphics will blow everything else out of the water. For those of us dying to play this, we'll gladly pay $40 for an awesome game and then make a decision when GT5 comes out. With supposedly 900+ cars, it'll be worth the $60 bucks for that also. If you think it's a joke to spend $40 on Prologue then don't buy it and wait for GT5 to come out while the rest of us are enjoying Prologue.

its bigger than "full" racing games? what racing games would those be? i'm happy for you if you think 6 tracks and less than 100 cars is worth 40 bucks, but i'm not the only one who thinks this is a glorified demo.

but man those new screens sure do look pretty

I don't understand why anyone cares whether anyone else thinks it's worth it or not.

I used to but it's not really worth thinking about anymore.
