What are your best/worst favorite/least favorite performances of 2012? If you think there's a difference between the two options, state which one. I think this deserves it's own thread, as it's not the same as oscar predictions.
Best Sam Rockwell in Seven Psychopaths Daniel Day Lewis in Lincoln Michael Fassbender in Prometheus Marion Cotillard in Rust and Bone Parker Posey in Price Check Mary Elizabeth Winstead in Smashed Naomi Watts in The Impossible Worst Anne Hathaway in The Dark Knight Rises (I know, I'm in the minority.) Charlize Theron in Snow White and the Hunstman Blake Lively in Savages *Have not seen: Django Unchained, The Master, Les Miserables, Silver Linings Playbook. ![]() I can't really say much about which stars did good or bad as i have only seen a handful of movies this year(not a whole lot that grabbed my attention) but what about movies that under performed. they were promoting the hell out of the remake of Red Dawn and from what i heard, it just bombed at the box office - like half of its budget. it seems this year that either you did rather good at the box office or you were a bomb - no real inbetween movies. but i could be wrong here. |
