eu.playstation.com forums switching over to PSN account sign-ins (COMPLETED) - Blu-ray Forum

If you use the eu.playstation.com forums but haven't been on there recently it's worth checking these two threads:

Important Update: PSN Coming to the Forums!

PSN Authentication & Forum Changes – Update & FAQ

Basically if you want to keep ownership of your threads and posts you need to link up your current forum username with your PSN account using the steps described in the first link. If you do this your current forum username will be replaced with your PSN Online ID once the forum goes back online on the 20th. If you don't your current forum username will be locked out of use but you can still sign in with a PSN account, old or new.

Good question. I'm assuming that this could possibly be tied into the changes that are coming to PSN. Of course this is pure speculation on my part

yeah i have no idea what they're aiming for here. i guess once somebody screws you in a game you can get on the boards and call them out now? i dunno lol

Lol I can see that happening. Especially on COD4 or Madden boards

It's definitely coming, I linked my PSN to my killzone account earlier in the week. I expect to hear something about the US boards in the coming weeks.

Because...we can I guess. Atleast I don't have to put my PSN ID on my sig anymore lol.

I'm sure once the PSN is expanded and you're able to have trophies and accomplishments, other people will probably be able to view them on boards. Possible even able to add a friend on a board and then you'll also add them on your PSN friend list. That's what I think will happen. Could be wrong though

There will be a press conference this month regarding the expansion of PSN. I'm hoping that it is this upcoming week. But March is just about over, so really don't have much longer to wait to find out anyway.

Hmm, well, I'm fairly sure the PSU and PSN acct infos are already shared.

I know I didn't have to register for a psn account specifically because of my PSU info.

And their lithium boards use the PSU login data.
