Default Main search function broken...again

I know about the work-a-round (using the search from the left side menu) but, just wanted to let you know the main search field at the top of the home page is broken as it has been several times in the past.

Works for me... sounds like a Javascript problem? Which search option is highlighted in white, if any?

I fixed it. I use Safari browser & tried; Firefox, Opera & Chrome & it worked in all but Safari.

Then I noticed above the search field, instead of "Blu-ray" selected "Cast & Crew" was selected! Once I selected "Blu-ray" all was OK again.

I have no idea how it got changed.

Thanks.

I'm using safari right now, no problems at all. What OS are you running?

Not for Snow Leopard.

Not everyone wants Lion or Mountain Lion.
Some of us don't care about making our desktops resemble tablets. And once you update to 10.7 or 10.8 you lose the ability to run Mac programs that use the older PowerPC architecture. Such as Quicken for Mac 2007. I.E. no support for Rosetta anymore. Yes, we can buy new programs & make a bunch of changes & learn new software for those older programs we use that will no longer work with Macs but, some of us don't desire Lion or Mtn Lion.

Eventually, We will have to upgrade but not just yet.
