The first time I saw Nightmare on Elm Street I never looked back. All the other sequels sucked, but this one definetly set the bar.

I wanted to vote for An American Werewolf in London(My all time favorite movie) but the exorcist (especially "the version you didnt see") terrifies me to this day. Hopefully well see it as a coffetable/ray release

Kind of sad this poll lacked other. When I saw the name of the thread the first two movies that came to mind were "28 Days Later" and "30 Days of Night". Saw 30 days last night and was pleasantly suprised with how freaked out it got me. Another movie that didnt make the list was Childs Play. I was honestly 7 when I saw that movie and not that I can remember how long i didnt sleep....I know it was multiple days.

I saw Candy Man when I was 10 or 11. It scared me so much, I found it hard to look in a mirror when it was dark.

house on haunted hill was creepy for me. the whole fast moving but slow shaky crap that the ghosts do is so creepy to me. the fact it was a doctor made it creepy too

Default well

When i was a kid... the movie Stephen King's The Stand scared the hell outta me.

Stephen King's IT scared the hell outta me in the beginning, i had to vomit for that shyt.

I havnt seen The Exorcist til I was like 13 or 14.. that movie make me dont wanna go to bed and it is one of scariest til I watch a movie like The Ring which reminds me of that girl in the bed make me even get more spooky.

After all that.. im not afraid any of those old movies til I watch the movie "Dead Silence" at the movie theater and damn it scares the crap outta me cause it reminds me of The Exorcist and The Ring.

Again im not afraid any of those movies.. im waiting on the next movie to scare me.

Evil Dead suppose to be scary but it out to be comedy what a funny crazy ass movie.

Default Texas Chainsaw Massacre

the original version is not scary at all. .it is crap and ugly picture quality.

the 2003 remake version is way better. and alittle creepy if it was the first time u watch it.
