Default onkyo 705 blu light

i just got my 705 and the blue light around the knob seems to be really weak on the bottom half. It is a really nice bright blue on top and then weakens as it gets lower. Is that how it is supposed to be or is it burnt out or something??

I believe that is how it is on my 805 as well so I think that is how it's supposed to be.

mine is like that too. The bulb/led is at the top and then there is a circular ring around the knob that the light from the bulb travels though.

He means high up on the knob.. as in the top is bright. Gets dim as you move lower.
